More Romance that Crime Thriller

I rented this book hoping to find an new crime thriller series to enjoy. It could have been great but the relationship between the two main characters was much more the focus that the actual story and crimes. We learned very little about the perpetrator and spent way too much time going through the personal trials of the profiler and main detective. it got rather tedious. I will not be continuing with this series.

I am not a fan of romances and was not aware that this author appears to be a romance writer. If you like romances, its probably ok.

Nightmare...

Whoa, wait a minute! I did NOT see that coming!!! I mean, who could? No one!

Well written, well developed, great characters and the most excellent work of Bronson Pinchot makes this a tale not to be missed.

Excellent

I loved this book. I found the characters both interesting and realistic. Guilt motivating Abbie and her commitment to her sister that saved her from their childhood nightmare, was the perfect background for the story. Ryan’s guilt over his Perceived failure of his previous case helped bring them together. I LOVED the narrator and am looking forward to more of the series!

Again, This Author Needs a Good Editor

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes, I would recommend it, but with the warning that the 'steamy' scenes in most cases don't add to the plot

Would you recommend Waking Nightmare to your friends? Why or why not?

Probably not because it takes too long to get to the actual story.

What three words best describe Bronson Pinchot’s voice?

Fine for the genre.

Could you see Waking Nightmare being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

A movie, perhaps, but it would require a great deal more non-sex-related action. Don't know about the stars.

disapointimg

Predictable romance and sex. Might have been better if that had been left out. Confusing in some places. I won't be reading any more by this author.
