Publisher's Summary

A life-altering betrayal leaves Donna Grace alone, unmarried, and pregnant. She's desperate to leave St. Louis, Missouri, and return to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she grew up, and the only way back is by wagon train. The wagon master refuses to let a single woman drive a wagon without a male escort. Donna knows she can't trust men, but it seems she's going to have to partner with one if she wants to get back home.

Luke Russell failed to protect his fiancee. Because of his neglect, she was murdered. He vows to never leave another person to face dangers on their own and to never again open his heart to love. When he overhears Donna Grace's predicament, he offers her a marriage of convenience that they will dissolve as soon they reach Santa Fe.

But the trail forces them to work together. The birth of Donna's baby unites them in a way they can't deny. Will the dangers and joys of the Santa Fe Trail break down the barriers these two have built around their hearts?

Nice Christian Romance

The story was good, and the performance was good too, but I did feel the ending was abrupt. Maybe because there’s more books in the series?

Amazing book

I really enjoyed this book! The ending was cut short and I wish there was more. It was a bit hard to listen to the narrator. I got annoyed several times. Over all a great book and a must listen

Great story, okay narrator

Overall I liked this book. The narration was tough to listen to at times. Her voice seem to go in and out. The expression in it, almost sounded like a quiver. At times it was hard to hear what she was saying and other times it was just annoying. She had a way of making the main character seem whiny. I liked the story though, good character development and intriguing storyline. I love that faith is woven into the story.

A Tender Hearted Man, Determined Woman and A Song

Luke Russell is an honorable man with a tender heart. Donna Grace is a determined woman on a mission, to give her unborn baby a safe, loving home. Both are emotionally scarred by things that happened that were out of their control. They both need to learn to trust YHWH. Through their adventures on the Santa Fe trail they find "trust and love" for YHWH and each other. Well written. Worth the listen.

Wagon Train Baby - Luke and Donna Grace

I enjoyed it all. Story line and performance. Wish there had been a little romance between Mary Mae and Warren and Judith and Gill.
