Made me think

This story really made me think about how difficult and lonely it was for the women and men who settled the West. How wonderful that the one person that could read everyday to the family that those listening had entire books of the Bible memorized. I enjoyed this very much!

Love this series

This is a sweet funny book. The interaction between Jo & Dave is cute and funny.

Sweet and clean

I enjoyed the characters three strong women Who are sisters that lived on hope Mountain after their parents and grandparents had died but they survived because of the skills they were taught by their grandparents The love story of Joe and Daniel made me smile The author in my opinion did a wonderful job in creating A clean And entertaining story I know for myself if she continues to write and weave her stories so that I see them in my minds eye I will continue to purchase her audiobooks I am looking forward to the next two books that will complete the series

I appreciate this sweet romantic book being something I could let my teenage daughter listen to. Thank you for keeping it clean and classy and adding in Gods word.

Delightful

Delightful, heartfelt, interesting descriptions of the solitary mountain life in the late 1800‘s- full of faith, some humor- warm. Definitely sets you up for next books in the series

Captivating reminders

I listen to many of my grandparents stories of when they came from other countries over to America. They’re difficulties in establishing roots. When they finally found where they wanted to permanently remain, we learned much about our family genealogy. Just like Ursula, some family chose not to stay near each other. I can’t wait to read the other two books. Thank you.

Clean read

Funny, thought provoking, and sweet romance. Definitely worth it. Good narrator doing a great job of identifying each character.

Great Storytelling.

I love Jo and Dave’s story. It’s fascinating in its location on the mountain. It’s romantic in its sincerity. It’s humorous in its innocence of life. Three sisters who, for most of their lives, only knew each other and their grandparents. Basically secluded from life. Then strangers arrive on the mountain bringing with them excitement, danger, and disease. But through it all, love finds a way for one of the sisters to fall in love with one of the strangers. A beautiful story by an author I’ve enjoyed for many years.
