I love this dude!

Here I am thinking I'm gonna read a chapter per day, and instead reading the entire book in 1 day! It's because the story is so riveting that I could never find a good place to stop. This book is not just about learning from failure. It gives a number of examples of things like true grit, finding people who are good at what you're lacking, building a team of winners, and even things like not letting contention get the best of you. Brian is a powerhouse who is humble enough to admit his weaknesses and DO SOMETHING about it. He learned early on that what works and what you "like" are not always the same thing, and how without regular course correction, you are doomed to fail for good. Anyway, I'm ordering this book for a few of my friends and family. It's that good.

Great Story and Common Sense Reminders for Success

Whereas some business/success/self help books focus on one specific area, WTF?! covers them all. This book provides great anecdotes and stories on why gratitude, goal setting, having a vision, remaining optimistic while facing adversity and all of the other characteristics of successful people are important. I think Brian mentions it somewhere in the book, people who read these books have probably heard a lot of these things before, but having them all in one place is a great reminder. Sometimes we forget how important the little and big things are to growing a successful business. Undoubtedly Brian's ability to paint a picture of where he wanted his business to be made it possible for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to become the FedEx of junk removal. Such an unlikely story but it happened and continues to happen. Truly inspirational. Great read (or listen in this case).

Inspiring read.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was a great explanation of a founders rise to success. It seemed more honest and sincere than many books I have read from founders from different industries.

Genius.

Brian Scudamore is a genius. I've followed him religiously since discovering 1-800-Got Junk in 2003. This easy to read/listen to book (read by Brian!) chronicles the rise of Got Junk and it's amazing culture. The takeaways are naturally applicable to anyone afraid to fail (aren't we all) but seeking to make a difference in this world. Devour this book - multiple times!

SO INSPIRING!!

Brian’s humility is astonishing. He has achieved what some could only dream of achieving in 10 life times. The story is concise and well narrated. I love the fact that there are clear actionable insights. I am willing to fail every day of my life!
