Adventure and Great Characters!

I love Vrix. He's so confused by his feelings and is convinced Griggs is the greatest person in the universe. He's so into her, while all the while supporting her and not underestimating her ability.
Griggs is fun to read. She's hyper competent, but never over powered. They're both full characters, not just archetypes.

The spice is good, but there isn't too much. I wouldn't count this as erotic. It's more a sci-fi adventure that happens to have spice. There's plenty of plot.

I'm glad I continued the series. It sets up the next books really well and I think it would be hard to read the series out of order. You absolutely could, but you'd miss a lot.

The FULL Package!

Griggs is the kind of woman I love to read about. She's strong and can take care of herself. She doesn't whine or dither, she doesn't constantly agonize about every stinking decision. She just gets things done and saves the day! Vrix just has to prove he can handle an assertive woman without becoming insecure. (Spoiler: He does ;).

Great action and good plotline keep things moving along. All your favorite sexy times. Great read!

Adventurous series

This is the second book of an excellent series. The women are strong and the men support that. The balance between adventure and romance is great; the erotica doesn’t overwhelm the story. Ms. Music does a good job of varying her voice between characters and performing the story, as oppose to just reading a book.

Better than I suspected

Didn’t think I would like this book much because of the personality of the female character; but turns out, the author was able to humanize her behavior. The way Vrix interacted with her was priceless. The narrator does all voices well; however; the addition of a male narrator for male characters would make this better.

Needs a new narrator

The story would have been better with a different narrator. Her mouth full of spit is extremely annoying not sexy. I'm amazed she would ever be hired to narrate. Don't bother with this audible.
