Resumen del Editor

He’s lost in the past.
She’s lost in the mission.
When they’re lost in space, will love find them?

Maisy Cunningham was the youngest doctor to graduate from the Fleet Academy, but that doesn’t stop the rest of the crew from treating her like a helpless little sister. Maisy’s had enough of their coddling and volunteers to take a dangerous assignment on a rebel spaceship with a bunch of pirates to prove she’s just as strong and capable as the rest of the Earther crew.

Frrar sticks to engineering, though he finds himself repairing things in the Galaxos sickbay with surprising regularity. It’s definitely not because he's fighting his instincts to seduce the ship's doctor. But when sweet, beautiful Maisy volunteers to work on his brother’s pirate ship, Frrar insists on accompanying her to protect her - even if it means confronting his brother about his past crimes.

Maisy is ready for adventure, even with Frrar and his brother at each other’s throats the entire journey. But when the pirates attack a neutral ship and steal powerful weapons, she realizes she might have bitten off more than she can chew. The pirates are ready to sell the weapons to the evil Alliance, and only Maisy and Frrar can stop them from destroying the rebellion forever - if they survive the pirate captain marooning them both in space.

Good adventure, but…

This has been a good series so far. There’s a lot of action and suspense. But my main complaint is there is just too much erotica. I can enjoy a little bit but when it goes on and on and on I just get impatient. The last 20 to 30 minutes of this book right before the epilogue chapter was simple porn. I ended up skipping a lot of that. Ms. Music does a fairly good job of the narration. It just seems like she’s racing to get to the end. I always have to listen to her at a reduced speed. The good news is by doing that, it lengthens the book time and I enjoy the narration.

Excellent

Probably my favorite in the series so far! It was a nice change of pace to have the male lead as confused about his feelings as the female lead and be stuck trying to figure out what it means!

Almost the Weak Link but Turned Out Great

I was starting to think this was the weak link in the series, but the last 25% of the book is fantastic. A lot of the book is about two brother's that can't forgive each other and it was nice to see complex relationships among men.

Masie is fantastic. She's young and comparatively inexperienced, but even when she's doubting herself or scared, she's never whiny or weak. The authors did a good job balancing strength and naïvety. I enjoyed reading about a woman that got to be strong and clever but also scared and unsure. We also get more of a peak into the relationships between the women as Masie is seen as the "little sister" of the group.

It took a while for me to root for the romance because Frrar's brother really brings out the worst in him, but by the last 25% of the book, I was sold on their relationship and Frrar being a good guy.

Overall I'm glad I took a chance on this one and I'm going to finish the series.
