Publisher's Summary

Aubrey

I'm so excited for my wedding that I can't stop humming "Here Comes the Bride". Hey, you'd be happy too if you were marrying Brent Oliver, hockey's most eligible bachelor. Only problem is the universe seems to be conspiring against us, trying to thwart our big day. How else would you explain a missing bridal gown, an unexpected injury, and a slew of other mishaps?

Will this wedding ever even happen?

Brent

You bet your ass this wedding is going to happen! Nothing will keep me from marrying Aubrey Shelburne, the woman of my dreams. Not even strippers, my unruly nephews, or a broken ankle can stop me. I'm taking my girl to the altar, damn it. And afterward, I plan to show her a whole new meaning to that song she keeps humming.

Let's just say the bride will definitely be coming!

Vows on Ice is a hilarious stand-alone short novel in the best-selling Boys of Winter hockey romance series, featuring all of the couples and an Area 51 appearance!

Super Cute Rom-Com

Super cute semi-sports romance. Many shenanigans going on in this romantic comedy. I chuckled and grinned throughout. Enjoyable easy afternoon listening from a great crew of characters. Get ready for the featured Area 51! Narrator gave a great performance that was pleasant to listen to and fit this story perfectly. Vows On Ice

If you don't own an area 51 you may start looking for one. (But I hear they don't really exist). This book is full of adult humor that I so enjoyed. So WARNING if listening in public you may find yourself busting out laughing. Although these are standalone books I love that our favorite bad boys from past books were brought in to the story. Aubrey is a fun character that is wide open. And Brent is her perfect match adding just the right amount sane to her crazy. Brent's aunt is another fun/funny character with her attraction to Benny. Reagan West nailed the performance on this and really brought the book to life.

Ok

I wasn’t in love with this book but I did enjoy it and found some parts very funny. I did read this book as a stand alone so maybe if I read the others in the series I would have enjoyed it more.

Vows on Ice

This book bring back a few of my favorite couples. The humor of all the things that could go wrong moving up to a wedding was so scum to listen to and the ideas these girls come up with will have you laughing throughout this book. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for more. Narration is fantastic in this book. Personalities burst out of this audiobook perfectly.

So funny!!

This story was a lot fun to listen too. Definitely laugh out loud moments. The whole series is great and I’ve loved them all but I think I laughed the most with this one. Reagan West does a great job of narrating!! She really pulls you into the story.

Not what I expected. Lacks emotion. Narration good

Firstly, I enjoyed the narration. She did a good job. If you plan to read this story; I’d recommend the audio. A couple of her character voices weren’t great, but overall, a solid job. Now for the story, I didn’t enjoy this. It wasn’t what I was hoping for. I’ve enjoyed most of the books in this series, so I was excited to see how everyone is doing and I love wedding books. Unfortunately, too much stuff rubbed me wrong. The story lacked emotion; it focused way too much on trying to be funny. I didn’t find anything funny though. I didn’t like all the my man has a bigger package than your man talk. Also, the whole stripper scenario was so disappointing and not in the least bit funny. You shouldn’t attack the strippers when it’s your men that are the dogs. Very pointless scenario and just managed to make me have a foul mood for the rest of the book. The ladies are just too hard up, so they are totally fine with what was happening there. The ladies saw strippers too, but they didn’t have them in there laps at a private residence. There shouldn’t have been strippers in the first place with how much these hockey players have manwhored around with strippers in the past. Everyone just came across as sex crazed nut jobs. So, yeah, I was disappointed. Some people may like this “humor”, so I’m going 3 stars, but I really didn’t enjoy about 90 percent of this story. The writing is good too; it flows nicely. So, just not for me. Maybe I had too high of hopes.
