FIVE VISUALISATION TECHNIQUES TO MASTER YOUR MIND, BUILD CONFIDENCE AND ENHANCE PERFORMANCE
We all have habits and behaviours that hold us back from reaching our fullest potential. In VISUALISE, the very first book of its kind on visualisation, Maya Raichoora shows you how to harness the power of visualisation and retrain your brain so you can take control of the way you think, feel and perform, once and for all.
Drawing on the latest neuroscience, theory, Maya's personal experience and compelling case studies, VISUALISE presents five tangible and easy-to-implement visualisation techniques that will help you boost your productivity, achieve your goals and create the best version of yourself. The five techniques are:
1. Outcome visualisation
2. Process visualisation
3. Creative visualisation
4. Negative visualisation
5. Explorative visualisation
"I can’t wait to witness how visualisation is going to help so many other people, just like it helped me. From better confidence and motivation to managing emotions and life’s challenges better. The mind is like a puppy, if we don’t train it, it will sh*t everywhere…!" - MAYA RAICHOORA

Adaptable takes us on a tour of the human body. In each chapter, we learn how our bodies navigate an uncertain world: how we grow and mature; how our brains develop and learn; how our hearts, lungs, and digestive systems deliver oxygen and nutrients; how we manage toxins, temperature, and water balance; how we move and reproduce; how our immune system keeps invaders at bay; and how we age and decline. Along the way, we learn how to take care of our remarkable bodies, and that the universe of healthy lifestyles is vast (we don’t need the latest fad diet or cleanse!).

What does it mean to live in a body? For Gabriel Weston, there was always something missing from the anatomy she was taught at medical school. She’d forged an unconventional path, first studying humanities and getting an entry-level job in publishing, before a spark of inspiration set her on the path to becoming a doctor.

We’ve been taught that resilience is the secret to navigating life’s most difficult moments. According to New York Times bestselling author and organizational psychologist Dr. Tasha Eurich, there is just one problem with this assumption. Scientifically, resilience isn’t an unlimited resource, especially with the growing pressure, uncertainty, and chaos we’re experiencing today. But what if, instead of merely “bouncing back” from stressors and setbacks, we could harness them for forward growth?

In the process, he explains, we will join a growing movement of pioneers who are already living out this ethos. They're the builders, the problem-solvers, the doers who have chosen a path less traveled.

Best book on this topic I have ever read!
I have been following Maya on LinkedIn for some time. Her message is so powerfully inspiring that I’ve read the book twice already! Going back in on the practice visualization methods… this is right next to my other got books that I refer to frequently. Great read!

Amazing Book!
I’m in the U.S. and it took some time to get the physical book. I’ve listened to it, and it was fantastic, but now I’m going back to physically reading it so I can really study the practices. It’s full of so much great information and practices to implement.
