Publisher's Summary

Winter Simmons received the surprise of her life when she discovered that the man she had been dating for the last two years was actually Viper, president of The Last Riders. A high school principal, Winter has no intention of ruining her reputation in the community to be with a man who betrayed her trust. Unforgiving, she turns her back on him.

Determined to find his brother's killer, Loker James kept his identity as president of The Last Riders a secret from Winter. When the truth comes out, he is determined to make her see the real man who can control not only a group of dangerous bikers but a woman whose life is a rulebook. Unable to prevent herself from being drawn into the very club she despises, Winter is about to lose everything that is important to her - unless Viper can prove that she's more than a moonlight run. Contains mature themes.

These books are so much fun

Any additional comments?

They are enjoyable and fun to listen to, but not for everyone, in particular the sex scenes/situations, which didn't offend me. I'm so glad the author finally decided to have her books made available via audible.

When the VIPER Strikes...Watch Out!!

What made the experience of listening to Viper's Run the most enjoyable?

I actually LOVE this story, which comes SOOO close to being my Favorite of the series (aside from Knox's Stand.....Love my Knoxie)

The Narrator is Awesome! She does all the accents and really makes each character stand out in the crowd!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Viper's Run?

My favorite part is still when Winter is discussing the reasons why she and Viper hadn't slept together while dating casually for the last two years.

Ok...and when Winter cooks dinner for the group....Knox's reaction always makes me LAUGH!

Which character – as performed by Elizabeth Hart – was your favorite?

Winter is always a favorite, cause she didn't take crap...well some crap...but VIPER can be VERY convincing! Elizabeth Hart does a great job with all the characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES....But with two babies, I can only listen when I work, but only took three nights to get through it....If you haven't read the book...then you probably will be going from computer to phone so you don't miss a moment!

Any additional comments?

VIPER'S RUN is such a fun addition to the LAST RIDER'S Series! Each book has it's own something special and this one is one of those that literally makes your heart hurt for Winter and makes you cheer when Viper get's his head out of his ass.....The scene at her house after she sends him that text will make you tear up!

LOVE Winter and Viper! But I can't WAIT for Knox and Diamond!

Very Good EXCEPT for some incomplete plotlines

I really love THE LAST RIDERS series. This story was good except for some kinda important plot holes
1. If Viper really was so atteacted to Winter why not have sex with her instead of the club whores? I know he said he wanted her to see the real him but SERIOUSLY?
2. When Winter tells the club what she overheard from two members of the club (I won’t spoil it) Viper gets mad at her and not the two members that said it PRETTY MUCH TRASH TALKING WINTER
3. I HATE THAT THE CLUB TRIES TO MAKE Winter FEEL LIKE SHE OWES THEM BECAUSE THEY DID SO MUCH TO HELP WHEN SHE
NEVER
ASKED
FOR
IT,

3 1/2 stars

I like most of the aspects of this series. I can tolerate some of the aspects, but I really hate a few.

I think of myself as a pretty open minded person when it comes to sex. I truly don’t judge people and their personal choices; it’s their own business. If they want sex without commitment, have at it. If they enjoy threesoms, enjoy! If they like to watch others or want others to watch them, watch away. What I don’t like in life or in any novel I read or listen to, is unfaithfulness and causing another to suffer emotionally, it is unnecessary to the story, in my opinion, and takes away from the story.

Viper makes me so angry!

The narration was a bit better than Razer's Ride but Viper makes me so mad. I can't wait to see how Shade's pursuit of Lily continues.

Deceit, Distrust, Hurt, Forgiveness, Loyalty, Love

If you could sum up Viper's Run in three words, what would they be?

Secrets, Passion, Desire

What did you like best about this story?

Each book in this series is blended together and seen from different characters perspectives. An intricate blend intermingling of deep loyalty and friendship and family within the Last Riders MC, their highly free and sexual behavior (though interesting the men can have sex with anyone but the women members can't) and jealousy doesn't rear its head among them, until the male member meets the woman who makes a difference. Once he meets her and acknowledges his desire to be with her, and can be with her (Shade wants Lilly but must wait fir her so despite that is very sexual but no emotions, only for Lilly) He is faithful. So far....and protective and so is the entire Last Riders Very Alpha which is hot

Have you listened to any of Elizabeth Hart’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes and I like her male and female voices...on occasion the pacing isn't perfect but enjoyable and keeps me listening

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When ieper truly tells Winter how he feels about her and permits his emotions to show.

Any additional comments?

Viper is the President of the MC who has kept his identity secret for 2 years, using Winter to find out about his brother's disappearance. She falls in love, he keeps it platonic and screws everything in sight denying his feelings for her until he reveals his true self who he believes she won't accept.
It takes Winter nearly beat to death for him to acknowledge his feelings. Winter fights it because of the pain of his betrayal and distrust of him. unsure if she can deal with the lifestyle. It's a journey ...and we revisit Beth and Razor from the first book, become introduced to Knox and Diamond and learn more about Lilly and Shade. a more and interesting people are brought in!
The idea that these men can share the woman they love is hard for me to understand, so story loses a star, but the MC members are good people and once they commit so far they are faithful...hard to dislike them..especially the lives they lead and everything is consenting and not underage which is big. I understand them a little better with each book.
On to book three.

Jamie Begley does it again.

Jamie Begley does it again. Another fantastic book in The Last Riders Series.

Winter Simmons is a High School Principal and is dating local business man Loker James. Little did she know that Loker was hiding a secret from her.

Loker James is also known as Viper, President of the Last Riders. Viper wants to know who killed his brother. He will uses anybody who gets in his way, this includes Winter.

Winter's learns the truth and her life just goes from bad to worse.

I would recommend this series and I can't wait to read Knox's Stand.
