Publisher's summary

Marine Lieutenant Jacob Brown was on borrowed time, and he knew it.

He was a rogue element, disobeying orders and pursuing mission goals of his own. His Scout Team had been burned, disavowed by his chain of command and the owner of the stolen ship he was flying was after them to get it back. To make matters even more complicated, the man Jacob had stolen the ship from is an infamous outlaw and mercenary named Jason Burke...his father.

Being hunted down by both the United Earth Navy and the mercenary group that called itself Omega Force, Jacob has only one chance to keep his team out of a military prison and bring down the head of the One World terrorist faction that always seemed to be three steps ahead of him...and that was only if his father didn't catch him first.

Best one yet

Love the series starting with Omega Force. This IMO was the best yet. Can’t wait for the next book in the series. 👏👏👏👏

Good story

It is a good story. Thanks for not getting too sappy with the father-son stuff.

spectacular crossover

I do feel like Crusher doesn't get enough attention, which makes him more of a set piece than a character. besides that, this was an entertaining and solid, if short, expansion of the OF universe.

This is the pivitol book in both series

This is my favourite book in both Omega Force and Terran Scout Fleet. It's dynamic, involved, and emotional. I've listened to it several times and it's a treat. i strongly suggest listening to the series intertwined so the timeline align.

Beautiful.

By far the best yet.

This one gives you the best from Omega Force and the best from Scout Fleet. The combination of both worlds and storylines colliding with a great ending makes this the best in the "overall series" yet. No wonder why 4.9 is the overall rating on this one. The question is does the author keep going down both paths separately or combine them into one storyline? The combination of these could be a real treat. It felt like I got an Omega Force light book out of Scout Fleet book 3.

Another Home run!

Loved it, went through it too fast though. The whole series is exactly what I like, military intelligence, space and all sorts of stuff I like! Highly recommend!

The “I am your father” episode

When Omega Team finally meets up with Obsidian.

Its fun to see the two teams work together and have all your favorite characters in one book.

However I’m not entirely sure if I enjoyed the story as much as the other books. It was fairly brief in certain areas and somewhat anti-climatic in my opinion.
