Great Story..Not So Good Narration

I loved the story line, but the narration was terrible. There were 3 virtual narrators, 1 woman and 2 men. The woman voice was barely okay, and the men's voice was absolutely horrible. The voice strongly resembled a robot. Very flat. Although I really liked the story, I don't think I can continue with the series. I can find another FBI story that has much better narration.

vanishing Angels had great potential. the entire experience was ruined by the virtual reading. it lacked the expertise of a seasoned voice actor!

AI Narrator Sucks

The story may have been great, but the si narrator drove me nuts. It really screwed up the story by not finishing sentences.

Great story bad narration

The story is great. It’s just hard to follow with the narration sometimes. I keep listening because I like the story. I wanna know how it comes out, but please try to do better with the AI narrations.

Virtual Voice narrator is TERRIBLE.

The story and characters were interesting but the virtual voice narration was like a 7 hour Alexa weather update.

Multiple readers

I did not enjoy having multiple “people” (virtual voices) narrating the story—so many words were used wrong that it made it hard to listen to the story and enjoy it. One of the male voices sounded like he was barely literate (narrated Ch. 31 and other chapters).

I enjoyed it

I enjoyed the storyline. Just can’t get used to AI narrating. It doesn’t understand context to use the correct pronunciation of words like - wind and wind, read and read …

A hard listen

AI read has a long way to go to replicate a real person, still sounding very robotic. The story itself could have been good but was lost to the very computerized read which was very one note. Not sure I would even continue the next AI read book. A shame.

So many errors

It was hard to get into book and enjoy it for all the voice changes and grammatical errors.

I couldn't get past the virtual voice

Listening to "suri" read a book was so off-putting. The inflections were wrong, the timing, the "protrayed" emotions were so off base. I have no idea if the book was good. I tried to get past the narration, but it was impossible for me and 3 chapters in I gave up
