Charlie's last case left her tired and emotionally drained, so her office staff convinces her to vacation in Kauai. Charlie is riding in a helicopter when she and the pilot spot a dead body lying on the rugged rocks of Kauai's NaPali coast. Mack Garvey, the owner of the helicopter tour company, is accused of the murder. Charlie wants to avoid the whole mess but is persuaded to help Garvey prove his innocence. I love all the Charlie Parker books. However, the quality of the presentation was extremely poor. As I listen to the narrator, I can actually hear papers rustling, as if shuffling the script pages. It is quite distracting from the story. The story like is top-notch, but the delivery gets a "D" for delivery.

Love the story, but not the delivery

I love Connie Shelton's books. I can't wait to start the next one. She keeps you guessing until the end.

Loved it!

This installment wasn't as good as the first. I'm not sure I will buy the next one. What makes a cozy mtstery believable is the reason the lead character gets involved. I didn't buy it this time. Skip this one.
