great story

This is a great book. I could not wait to listen to the story while working.

This house is amazing!

Katie went from pathetic to whiny to needy to courage to strong to determined to - well the entire range that every woman goes through when she is forced to face her demons. Fortunately, she makes the right friends on the island and they help her to learn what she needs to know to grow - oh! and solve the mystery of her parent's deaths among other things as she deals with life in general.

Annalise is the house and I do mean that there is personality and strength and courage from the house because it is alive and also takes part in helping Katie to figure out life. She is also jealous which causes other problems.

The narration was good and really brought out the variations of Katie and her strengths and weaknesses.

Bottom line: this is a great listen to for a long weekend while you knock back a few margaritas.

I loved this trilogy. It was fun, fast paced. and kept you wondering what's next.

Port Aransas Ferry

I live in Port Aransas, you don't take a Ferry from Corpus. You go over a causeway bridge. They need to research their facts better! What else was messed up in the story.

It was good to pass the time. Some of it a little too unbelievable at times.

My Caribbean Holiday

I totally enjoyed listening to this box set. It had romance intrigue spiritual and detective all my favourites and all for one credit. great value money wise and entertaining.

The story is really great.

I really enjoyed the author and the story! I have listened to other books by this author, and the other performer/reader was better. There is a strange high-pitched noise in the background, which is very noticeable in my car over Bluetooth. The reader makes several noticeable mistakes... "cardiac infraction" for "infarction", for example. This is one example, but there are several. There are strange pauses after any passage of characters speaking that get annoying. Her accents are occasionally inconsistent, like maybe they should be practiced longer. I have listened to lots of audible books and always enjoyed the reader. I think it requires a talent with acting. This reader was a bit too much for me. It was hard to listen to the book....

First two books were great, third... not so much

Is there anything you would change about this book?

i really enjoyed books 1 and 2, however, somewhere in book 3, Katie turned into this excessively whiney and annoying woman who almost made me unable to finish. Some of it may have been the narrator and how she preformed, but it was also the story line. It called for whiney and annoying.
