Publisher's Summary

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: And his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.(Revelation 6:8)

A plan to take down the New World Order.

When Solomon calls in a favor, Josh is obligated to hold up his end of the bargain. He quickly regrets binding himself and the group to the open-ended agreement after hearing what Solomon has in mind. The mission is not only dangerous and foolish, but Josh considers it to be down-right impossible.

All that glitters is not gold.

Lucius Alexander’s OASIS cities are living up to their namesake by providing security, healthcare, food, shelter, and even recreation. But admission to these modern utopias come at a cost. Residents must accept the Ministry of Religion’s new global standard for worship. For most Christians in the US, it isn’t a problem. However, some faithful followers refuse to adhere.

Lucius Alexander is revealed as a man bent on conquest.

To make matters worse, a new strain of Red Virus is threatening the globe and only those living in OASIS cities are eligible for the vaccine. As if that were not enough, the person who the world is calling the Prince of Peace is instigating a war with the new Eastern Trade Organization. China and Russia are calling the shots for the ETO and the conflict is about to go nuclear!

Don’t miss the pulse-pounding conclusion of The Beginning of Sorrows saga!

As with all works by Mark Goodwin, this audiobook contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to scripture, this book might not be for you.

Mark is my favourite author

I don't care how long his books are they seem to fly by. I enjoy everything I read of this man. And he is definitely chose a good narrator for the book.

Bravo Zulu!

I am so glad I read all 3 books. Not only does this book help you prepare for the end of times, make you soul search your heart and your relationship with Jesus. Getting prepared. Pass this book on to someone else. Also the Narration is spot on. Looking forward to the next one.

Great conclusion to this series.

This book was well written: Spoiler alert if you continue reading.

The narration by Kevin Pierce is as expected, nothing short of excellent.

The story, toward the end, left me thinking that I had "figured" it out. Thought that the ending would be at the farm where the group would go down in a shoot out, and I was kind of bummed out that the end would be this lame. Although going out in a shoot out would have made for a great action scene ending to another really good book. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was wrong and as Mark Goodwin is so "good" at doing, the twist was great. I was thinking, how can you guys, the characters in the book, be soooo lame, Craig is buying time to turn you in to the GU!

Although I had figured out that "Craig" was a scumbag well before the end of the book, and kind of figured that he would turn the group members in to the GU toward the ending, the twist is really cool and a great lead in to the next series. Before I finished listening to the end of this book, I was already thinking, you know, it would be a cool series to see what happens to the non-raptured members of the team.

Great ending Mr. Goodwin!

Trusting WHO You Serve

Narration is excellent!!😁

This is the end of the trilogy with Joshua Stone, his ministry among the members of his family community and his growth in grace and understanding! Being a leader is who Joshua is. He now knows the importance of feeding his soul by reading the Word as well as feeding his body. He deals with the action and the inevitable losses with trust, because he knows just WHO he serves. Lots of betrayals, redemptions and sheer thrills to the very end. Excellent!!

The next series is Emilio's and Mackenzie's (Rev's daughter) journey through the Tribulation...onto to "Kingdom of Darkness".

Superb Continuation

I am often skeptical of a continuing series. But Horton delivers another epic volume to the growing Borrowed World story. Also, he lightly ties it in with his Mad Mick Series. I’m am eagerly awaiting that marriage in the future. Thank you for another great book, looking forward to the next! See you and all your characters in 2021!

too much headline and mainstream media and youtube

thru out the books I was preached to as if I was a mindless cog in the machine. for a country that I have driven coast to coast on the writer ignores as much reality as possible and has a condition where gasoline is so valuable as to be paid for with gold and yet a band of poor militia running from *indiana* to Commiefornia a dozen times in checked by road blocks that will be put up in a heart beat by the statist costumed coward toy badge "order followers". this entire book series would have been better off if Josh had just shot himself and his family and saved me the four days of work listening to it. but!; I needed a break from the reality being shoved on me by the statist propaganda being pushed on us everyday and YouTube videos of the "hero" coproaches murdering, raping, beating, abducting, and robbing my fellow Americans each day.... so. this book gave me a few shadow puppets to hate and steam to go back to watching reality and learning how to break the "authority" trying to rape and enslave me and my fellow Americans "for our safety"....
