Rafe is too much
This book started out as expected. I know there are trigger warnings for a reason but some situations I did not see coming and did not enjoy listening to or reading. Rafe starts to become pretty unhinged and it only gets worse in the 3rd book. It makes it hard for me to see how Isa can love the man. Even if she says she likes the “things” he does to her.

OMG! So good!
This book was so good. Rafe is still absolutely crazy and getting worse. Who forces someone to marry them at gunpoint? I feel for Isa, but she can be really annoying. There was quite an ending! Cannot wait for the next book to see how Isa continues to grow with Rafe. Heather Firth and Fernando Guerra did a great job with the narration. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

3RD TIME LISTENING 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I’ve listened to this series for the third time. I have never loved someone I should hate more than Rafael. The voice actor for Rafael made this so much hotter! Hands down my FAVORITE mafia series I’ve ever read. I hope we get more and get the Cortez brothers stories.

Loving it
Enjoying listening to this book by this author. It’s dark and intense and twisted, all in a good way. It’s not for everyone, it does have triggers;however, if you enjoy Dark Romance then this is the book series for you

Kept me interested
I liked the narration. I’ve got worse books in my library I paid for credit/cash! I liked it well enough to listen to series. And it is a darker romance than the usual contemporary.
