Publisher's summary

Discover the chilling true stories of killers who stalked their victims undetected and remain free to this day....

While you're likely familiar with the famous serial killers who have had their faces plastered on every television screen, that's only part of the picture. One reason that people find these criminals so compelling is because they can rest easy at night knowing justice has been served and the world has been made a little safer. Yes, these killers are shocking and perverse, yet there's a sense of comfort in knowing they won't be hunting for victims any time soon.

But what about those who go undetected? In Unsolved Serial Killers, here is just a fraction of what you will discover:

  • Explorations of the cities and historical contexts of the killings, so you understand the atmosphere when they were taking place
  • In-depth profiles of the victims of each killer and what happened to them
  • Comprehensive looks at the investigations, suspects, and actions of law enforcement while trying to identify the perpetrators
  • The conspiracy theories and lasting legacies that surround these unknown predators
  • The methodology of the killers and what those distinct patterns might reveal about their twisted inner psyche
  • Public reactions to the murder sprees and the surprising ways that public opinion influenced investigations
  • And much more!

If you're ready for the best true crime stories you've never heard before, then buy this audiobook right now.

Unsolved Serial Killers

This is an interesting collection of cold cases. It was nice to see some different cases than the usual ones always talked about. If you are a fan of this genre, you will recognize some of the cases in this book. You are given a look at some disturbing cases that we may never know the perpetrators of.
While there seemed to be a few audio problems narrator James Meunier speaks clearly and at a good pace keeping me engaged in the stories.

Gruesome Cases

This book is phenomenally written with incredible details that in some cases make me truly distrust the justice system. The cases are descriptive and leave very little to the imagination but I will admit terrifying that some of these people may be out there still alive. If you are a true mystery and unsolved murders fan I highly recommend this book. This is my honest unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving of my own volition. I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.

Love it

I listened to this on my drive home and couldn’t pause it it was so good. Can’t wait for the next one. I loved that these stories were not all from America since it gives us a new look into the world of serial killers and stories we probably haven’t heard of. I personally hadn’t heard of any of the stories mentioned in here but its definitely worth the read/listen.

Interesting content with some odd audio issues

The book seems well-researched, and the cases are interesting, but perhaps not as compelling as I had hoped. I think I was looking for more tension in the storytelling. The narrator did a fine job, but he also didn't seem to have the gravitas that I think may have helped drive these stories.

I also noticed some strange audio issues, particularly in Chapter 7 (The Monster of Florence). After several of the narrator's statements, I was able to hear a sort of digital echo of those statements about a second later. I have no idea what would cause something like that, but it was distracting enough to take me out of the story for a good portion of that chapter.

Freaking awesome and creepy

I loved this book. So many creepy mysteries to make your skin crawl especially when you listen to it in a quiet church while working alone…like I did. I can’t wait to read more in the future.

If you're a True Crime fan, this is a must read!

I love listening to True Crime stories while I work and these stories did NOT disappoint!! These are stories that I had never heard before! I like how they give back stories for the victims instead of just saying a number or a name!! Although I didn't care for the narration, that's all me(I'm weird about accents😬) I did finish the whole book and definitely recommend it!!!
