this was actually one of the first books I read in the LGBT category when it was still under Essex's old pen name along with Cage the Darlings. the story, town, and characters are beautiful and charm me every time i listen to or read it all over again

Not a Mediocre Witch
This is a most enduring book! Loved it, the characters, the reader and above all the story line!! Ms. Essex is a very provocative and powerful writer!! I loved the new way to read with no chapters in it -- just pauses and a title or two!! This is such a great story and of course I want a sequel!! Excellent! I was sorry to see the story end!

More than a mediocre Witch!
Isabella Fox is a mediocre witch who has been run out of every town she has lived in. Till she spots an ad for a town that needs a witch to cast one spell a year. How could she possibly screw this one up? Join Isabella, her familiar Alice and strange outcast shifter Emily for three holiday tales of magic, mystery and mostly love.
This is the witchiest book I have read in a long time.

Magical
This book was pure magic and romance. I loved all the stories of the goddesses Isabella was more than just a mediocre witch. Her and Emily did so much together. They saved a town , brought two lost souls together and so much more. Rose Clearwater did a fantastic job narrating this story.
