Excellent performance as always, and the writer continues to surprise pleasantly with plot while growing the characters (and the threats). Favorite moment: Fred swearing 😆

so much fun with the paranormal

I've loved the whole series, and this was just as good as the others. There were two twists I saw coming a mile away but that didn't ruin anything. Above all else, this book was a listen!

I just unabashedly love Fred and his friends and his extremely healthy relationships. Found family at it's best.

this is one of the most refreshing vampire series I have ever read. it's a fun concept and I love the narrator. would definitely recommend anyone who enjoys paranormal with a variety of creatures that focuses on friendship with a splash of innocent romance.

Always ready for more Fred

These series is always a delight. I was reading the 5th Red Rising book and awesome as it was, just had to take a break and enjoy something with good feelings (with the healthy dose of pleasant peril you'd expect). As much as I love all Drew's books, this series is my go to for coming away smiling. And it's worth noting that Kirby delivers on his characters yet again.

The narrator chosen for this series is perfect! He makes the king sound regal and the accountant sound nerdy. Excellent story telling!

Loved it! All of it! Drew Hayes has become one of my favorite authors, and Kirby Hayborne does a fantastic job narrating! Bravo!

More of everything you love

The usual cast of colorful characters is back and continues to grow. The stakes keep going up also. With good intentions and a wholesome heart, Fred continues to take unlife on his own terms, much to the distress of the institutions around him.

This book is at least as good as the previous, and in many ways it's even better. Great addition to the series.
