Publisher's summary

"You have the choice to go forward or backward. It’s as simple as that." (Matt Worthington)

In Worthington’s book, Ultra Productive, he details the tried and true methods of hard work, consistency, and discipline. Worthington claims the combination of these three actions, plus mastering your thoughts, are the keys to accomplishing any great feat, no matter how crazy the rest of the world thinks it may be. In his compelling memoir, Worthington takes you through the trials and tribulations he faced during his college years and shows the path to a more purpose-driven life - one that allows the listener to get ahead, overcome any obstacle they face, and ultimately, graduate from college debt-free!

What others say about Ultra Productive:

"Matt Worthington walks the walk he describes in his book. His journey to becoming a productive citizen speaks to one of his basic pieces of advice: Surround yourself with people whom you admire and who do things you want to do, and you’ll be better for it. Matt has come a long way, and with this book, I hope he can invite others to walk the walk, too." (Carl Shepherd - cofounder and former chief strategy officer of HomeAway Inc.)

"Worthington’s book is a riveting story that gets all the emotions of the reader involved. The lessons he teaches are universal, and if followed, can help the reader overcome even the toughest obstacles in life. Worthington uses his story in a way that can relate to all. His process of overcoming adversity to make a better life is evident and compelling." (Kacy Benson, speaker, comedian, and author of The Crash: Overcoming When Life Falls Apart)

"Matt’s story is an inspirational message about the power of hope through encouragement and compassion. His transformative personal journey can give hope to community college students across the country. As Chancellor of Austin Community College, I am proud to know Matt as a distinguished member of the ACC Riverbat family." (Dr. Richard Rhodes, president of Austin Community College)

Different kind of self help book

I have listened to a variety of self help books and I feel like a lot of them play off one another and give the same advice. This book goes in its own direction, I felt like the habits and advice presented were more authentic and original. It was nice listening to a book that shared productive habits that you won’t find in other books. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who is looking to make it through college debt free!
