I’ve read a lot of personal development/self-help books and this is the first to give me true insights into why I am who I am and how I can become who I want to be through actual strategies not just theory and fluff. It’s deep but so worth it!!

Challenge the conditioning of your mind
This book deep dives into awakened and conscious living. You won’t feel bad about yourself that you are not awakened, but instead you may feel inspired, like I was, to have these confronting but truthful questions thrown at you. It really makes you stop and pause, with the author oozing pockets of bite sized wisdom like… live life with the expectation that your full participation will resolve much of what bothers you. Simple. Truth. Like, duh!
Don’t drive with a handbrake on. Great advice! I love how Pearson explains that conscious living is releasing the handbrake and enjoying the journey of discovering the layers of who you are.
This book opened my eyes and my heart to become comfortable with the unknown, and that there are likely unseen pockets of myself that are waiting to be uncovered to flourish. This book will deeply challenge every value you have, most especially around the theme of love - the way you love, how you love, and what you have conditioned yourself to think that love is for others and yourself.
