If you're looking for a story, this isn't it

This is a good book for refrencing what to do in a CBRN event. This is a manual, not a story. So don't expect anything but textbook content. The content is good though and I do recommend it if you can listen to textbook audio.

could have done without the bias

The info regarding how to prepare in the event of emergencies was very thorough, but I was put off several times by the assertions that Muslims are terrorists and must be feared, I was also out off by the author praising the Israelis for defending against Palestinian attacks while ignoring that the Israelis are the attackers. It's like listening to a white supremacist praise another white supremacist for attacking non-whites without provocation. After hearing it a couple of times in the audiobook, I stopped listening and deleted the download. I just couldn't stand to hear it anymore. I still want to learn about how to keep my family safe so I'll get the info from elsewhere.

Not Very Practical

Overly technical and little that is practical to the average person. Author bounces between needless side stories about the Iraq war and hyper technical information that would only be useful to a doctor with access to a fully stocked hospital.

Very little in those book would be useful to a person trying to be prepared. There are better books about this topic.
