TYLER & EMERSON

If only there were guys who really talked like Nyssa Kathryn's Tyler! I don't want to ruin it so I'm not sharing quotes, but WOW!

There is so much emotion in Tyler and Emerson's story starting with her horribly abusive childhood. There is a happy ending to that problem in the form of a loving stepmother and stepbrother, but now HE is the one in danger and Emerson needs Tyler and his "altered" team to help her brother.

Troy Duran and Lucy Rivers were terrific narrators. Only two more books in this series and I will miss the Blue Halo team.

"I was born to love you."

It is rare that I don't figure out the "shock point" in a book but this one had me guessing. This book had a little bit of everything: reverse age gap, insta-love, deep family bonds, mental health/PTSD issues. I loved the found family aspect and the FMC's loyalty to her stepbrother. I loved that the age gap wasn't a big deal and I really adored how Tyler fell quickly and deeply. Troy Duran and Lucy Rivers were excellent as Tyler and Emerson. Bring on Callum!

Another Amazing Story

Wow, Nyssa Kathryn just gets better with each one of her books!
Emerson is bound and determined to help find and save her brother. He has been battling demons for years and is spiraling out of control. He is too strong for her and normal people to try and control and contain with his altered DNA caused by Project Arma so she goes to the only place that could possibly help, Blue Halo. Will they help her when they find out who her brother is?
Tyler saw her at the bar and knew who she was when she was coming in to meet about finding her brother and he wanted to be the person she met with. He felt drawn to her for some reason. He knows she isn’’t being totally truthful about her brother but he hopes she will trust him enough to tell him everything but she doesn’t do it before he finds out on his own.
Tyler feels betrayed but then realizes that he doesn’t have all the facts but when he goes to talk to her she is gone. Can he repair the damage he did and still help her find and save her brother or will she become the next victim of a psychopath that is coming closer to their small town?

Oh my, now I need Fiona and Callum’s story!!!

Umm, I am pretty sure Tyler is my favorite. Well, next to Jasin and Aiden. Hahaha. I know it makes no sense. Leave me alone. I love them.
I adored this story and am really sad I read it so quickly. It touched on PTSD/mental illness and the lengths that someone would go to save that person! It was gut-wrenching.
Tyler and Emerson are so freaking adorable together. I swear it was insta love. IT WAS EVERYTHING. Nyssa writes her man characters with very little drama with each other. Do not get me wrong, angst is awesome, but I do like the occasional switch up, and Nyssa delivers every single time! Her main characters are just boom, magic.
I love going back to her series and her books. This one is definitely not any different. I wish inhad better words. I loved this couple. Add this to your TBR, pre-order. It's fantastic!


Troy Duran and Lucy Rivers were fantastic. they brought the characters to life and kept me so engaged. They both do such a great job. I just love them.

I love the Blue Halo guys! The heroines are always strong intelligent women which makes the story that much better. Loved the storyline in this one because it pulled at my heartstrings a little as well as the instant connection between Emerson and Tyler. This whole series is awesome

Two cases and a love story

his is another great addition to the Blue Halo series. It’s finally Tyler’s turn.

Emerson comes to town to ask Blue Halo to find her brother so he can get help (he’s suffering from PTSD and his mental health seems to be deteriorating.) at the same time Blue Halo is helping their FBI contact try to solve a case. As the story goes I got the feeling the two things would interconnect, but it took me a while to figure out what that connection would be, the whole thing was very well done.

Troy Duran and Lucy Rivers do a wonderful job bringing these characters to life.

This is the sixth book in the Blue Halo series. Emerson comes to town looking for help from the Blue Halo team. They are her last resort. She is trying to find her stepbrother. He is an ex soldier that Highlar used and manipulated into helping him with the Arma Project. The only way to catch someone who is stronger and faster then the average person is with a team of men with the same abilities. Tyler was instantly attacked to and super protective of Emerson since the moment they met. Lucy Rivers, and Troy Duran did a fantastic job narrating this book.
