Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke did a fantastic job!

I purchased the audiobook for Two a Day and I loved it so much- it made my evening walks fly by for the last few days! Drew and Brooke's meet cute was unique and so fun, and I'm always going to love when the main male character is a professional athlete- that's totally my favorite! Lauren Blakely novels always make me happy and put a smile on my face and every minute of this book was delightful. Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke did a fantastic job with the narration- they were perfectly cast.

Fun Flirty and Sexy Forbidden Romance that sizzles!

Sometimes stories can be complicated… Sometimes the path that a couple takes have to go over all of these mountains before you can crest the top together … and sometimes you get that rare story where it’s just instant chemistry, and it’s easy from the beginning… Sure Drew and Brooke hit their normal snags and navigating a relationship but there’s no denying their chemistry and the white hot attraction from the get go!

Jason Clarke stars as Drew and let’s face it, he could be reading a grocery list, and I would be wrapped with attention, and on the edge of lust!!

Rose Dioro as Brooke brings a classic professional side to the character and portrays her as strong female badass in charge of a male dominated industry!

In the genius of Queen LB’s writing, you are drawn into their story from chapter 1. Through twists and turns that are not over the top but just enough to make you feel and want to know what happens next, You learn that sometimes being together is as simple as waking up in the morning.

Blakely once again interweaves characters from previous books and even books from different books into the magic that is this book.

I found myself routing for Brooke and Drew! Their HEA is new, fresh and real and one that pays off in the end!!!

Very entertaining story and narration!

The book hit all the right buttons for me because of Drew’s gorgeous physicality, his charismatic personality, his good guy charm, and his dirty talking bedroom shenanigans. Brooke is a beautiful, brilliant workaholic attorney with a with a heart of gold but she’s normally very cautious with men. I loved everything about their precipitous first meeting including the fiery chemistry that leads to a night stand that promises more dates in their future. As it happens in romance tropes, circumstances beyond their control threaten their path to happily ever after, but the football action , their respective jobs, and their unmitigated sexual longing had me hooked on this couple from start to finish. Better yet are the very entertaining narration performances of Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro.

Witty, flirty, and spicy football romance!

Sweet dirty-talking afternoon delight?! Yes, please! Two a Day by Lauren Blakey was a witty, flirty, and spicy football romance that put the biggest grin and a few blushes on my face! This book starts off HOT, then turns a little bit forbidden, and ends with a whole lot of love. Drew and Brooke have quite the memorable first encounter that only gets better and hotter from there. Who knew a paddleboard mishap and margaritas could lead to forever?

Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke narrate this audiobook, and both did an amazing job with Lauren’s words. Rose portrayed Brooke, a sports lawyer, with sass, grace, and confidence as she gave into her true feelings and went after what she desired! Jason’s performance of Drew, a professional quarterback, was hilarious, swoon-worthy, and oh-so-tempting (hello dirty talk!) as he discovered he could truly have football and the love of his life! Plus, the chemistry between Brooke and Drew goes from light and fun to sinful and sexy fast!

Overall, I LOVED this audiobook! If you are a fan of a forbidden football romance with a hunky all-star quarterback, a fiercely determined lawyer, Venice Beach, romance books, tacos, cooking lessons, hilarious text conversations, Whac-a-Mole, Skee-Ball, traffic steam, ass spanking, fake relationships, old movies, and a HEA that delivers all the delicious innuendos that will melt your heart, then you will love Drew and Brooke’s romance. I always look forward to more from Lauren Blakely.

Funny and sweet

Another great new series by the queen of romance. Two a Day is book one in The Girlfriend Playbook and what a great start it is. Brooke was relaxing after a rough week at the beach when hottie Drew Adams is in need of her help. They wind up helping each other in many ways, that is until they discover they are working on the same team. The love-gods want Drew to find his HEA so they are pushed together and all the heat and attraction and banter in the sheets are back on track.

These two are perfect for each other and I loved their dirty talk and heat and love. The characters are all great as always with this author. We can feel like we are just along for the ride with them and cheer them on.

Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro were the fabulous narrators that brought Drew and Brooke to life. They were amazing on this audio and I loved listening to them both.

This is a feel-good book that ends in happily ever after. The audio has some bonuses at the end as well which is always an added plus. Great story, and great narration and I highly recommend it.
