This is honestly a great book

I do not usually leave reviews but this was honestly one of the best books I’ve read in a while! 10 out of 10 for the writing it’s very rare I find a book that doesn’t make me roll my eyes but this book was very well written I loved the book I am going to read more by the author! Bravo !

the forbidden but so right.

This was a great story the author killed it. Feeling sad for the girl at the begaining. then so happy she got hers in the end.

Main characters - how love prevail. Mistakes were corrected. Everyone found happiness. I love their banter. Humor

Great book and narration

This was my first book by this author. I really enjoyed the depth of the story and the dual POV narration was fantastic, especially Samantha Summers. I really felt Wren’s emotion and sense of loss throughout the story.

The story is good, the kink is great…but…

It’s a good taboo, age-gap, daddy-kink story, but it’s all over the place. Things seem to happen out of nowhere, the bad guy is truly awful yet faces no real consequences (though he redeems himself at the very end). The female main character is inconsistent—sometimes strong, sometimes a complete doormat, and often illogical. Most distracting, however, is the female narration. Her delivery feels off, with odd pauses mid-sentence and uneven cadence that pulls you out of the story. That said, the steamy and daddy kink scenes are excellent,(if you like those.) , and overall, it’s still an entertaining listen and it’s a HEA, rushed at the end but happy!

What a story

Beautiful story, great male narrator, the missing star is for the female narrator who at most times sounded very robotic with sentences that didn’t flow. Lots of stops in the middle of sentences. Other than that, it’s was fantastic!!

OMG! Ok, this is absolutely my favorite book ever! Don’t even think about if you should or not….. GET THE BOOK! You won’t be disappointed! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Utterly captivating

This novel sucked me in and didn't let me go. The narrators are fantastic. Every emotion is conveyed. I am going to start the whole thing over right now.

What a deep, intense story!

This tale is not the usual cliché of age-gap and complicated relationships. It's poignant, funny, and heart-wrenching. It's got realistic, but unexpected twists presented at a lively pace.

I live in a small town, and I suspect this author has spent time dealing with gossip, everyone in everyone else's business, and quirky characters, as well as goodhearted people.

I honestly did not see how these characters could have a happy ending. I was mentally preparing myself to be disappointed, expecting the story to end in sadness and loss.

The way things worked out was believable, but I never saw it coming.

There's some mildly kinky sex, a lot of anger, love, and humor, and an ending that I loved.

I thought the narrators were okay, except several times, the female read the lines as thought here was a period after every word. It. Was. Jerky. And. Slow. But I liked the story well enough to ignore most of that.

Favorite character: Granny D, aka Delores. That old gal is priceless. I'd love to see more of her.

Great storyline, ok narration

I loved listening to this story. It was the right amount of plot and spice to keep you engaged throughout. Female narrator was fine, but spoke oddly slowly. It was slightly distracting at times but not so bad that you can’t enjoy the listen.
