Very good book

This is a very good book but check your trigger warnings for this whole series if you Have trigger warnings? This is not the series for you or the author for you because this author writes some pretty dark stuff

Favorite book in the series

Kiara and Nino’s love is so sweet. This book is sort of a part one of their story which continues in twisted bonds. It’s wonderful to see Kiara overcome her fears with Nino’s help and she helps home overcome his past. A different take as she is strong her own way and l like how the writer doesn’t make it seem like there is a magic wand that takes care of trauma. I’d encourage continuing their story.

Nino and Kiara are my favorite

I read the book form and now have listened to the audiobook. I only do that with my very favorite books. Nino and Kiara appealed to me. His lack of emotion was actually helpful to her to heal because he used logic and calmed her. He was also so good to her and she was so sweet and gentle. This one really touched my heart. It's a slow burn, but worth it.

Nino and Kiara's love story

I love the tactic that the author took with Nino being patient with Kiara's childhood trauma; Sexual assault. This is a great Trilogy!

4star story - Kiara was meh

Not my favorite so far, but I absolutely loveeee nino and how sweet he is to kiara. I understand why kiara is the way she is, but I definitely prefer the bad ass “I do what I want” girls like Gianna. She was just too timid for too long, I couldn’t wait for her to overcome her fear of the men.

What more can be said about this book that hasn't already been said? From the moment I first laid eyes on it, I have been completely hooked. Kiara, a girl consumed by her brokenness, desperately wants to reclaim her inner strength and embrace her true self. And it was the most dangerous man in the Camorra who became her true ally, her safe place. Nino was the one who eased her mind, mended her wounds, and ignited a spark of hope within her. His stoic nature provided the clarity she needed to rearrange her thoughts and find solace.

The depth and complexity of Kiara and Nino's characters left an indelible mark on my heart. Their connection is unlike anything I have ever witnessed, and the way they handle their relationship with such maturity fascinates me. Without a doubt, Cora Reilly has outdone herself with this novel.

For those who love reading mafia romance and crave some angst, this is the perfect read for you. I promise you will not be disappointed. I do advise to check TW as there are some serious themes being explored here.
