Publisher's summary

As the youngest brother of the notorious Falcone clan, Adamo grew up surrounded by blood and violence. Drugs soon became his way of coping.

Becoming a Made Man like his brothers was his destiny, but never his passion. When he becomes the organizer of his family’s successful illegal street races and one of their thrill-seeking drivers, he finally asserts his own path in the harsh mafia world.

His purpose isn’t the only thing Adamo discovers on the fuel-soaked roads he calls home....

Dinara Mikhailov is the only female race driver and hard to ignore. Not only because of her flaming red hair and ruthless driving style, but also because the Bratva princess is allowed to drive in enemy territory.

Soon Adamo and she find themselves entangled in a passionate game that goes beyond the race track. Yet, both haunted by events in the past, their dark cravings put everything on the line.

As what they crave the most, comes with a brutal price.

Good book

It was a good book but I wish Cora had wrapped up the series ending better. We didn’t get much of the other family members or there relationships. I would liked to see where they all ended up.

I'm trying to contact the author for more!

Please Mrs. Reilly, I have all of your books with Luca and the Camorra, I even found one edition Sweet Emotion that audible doesn't even carry, Julia's story, i found it in my library audiobooks. I'm re-visiting Bound In Vengence because for one, I love Tor Thom and I loved their story. You could carry on with their story or many off shoots, I would buy them. I love all of these writings. Please write more in the Luca, Ryan, a.k.a. Growl,,.Bound by or Camorra lines! Thank you!

Racing, strong mafia men, killing spree & a little smut

I absolutely loved this book. I’ve had a spot in my heart for Adamo through the whole series and loved seeing him grow into his own man. Dinara is a love able badass & they make the perfect pair.

Adamo Get His Happy Ending

I had to read this book twice before writing this review. Plus went back and read the other Camorra books again, to help me develop Adamo's character. Because I honestly do not know how I feel about Adamo book after only one read through. It was somewhat all over the place, but maybe that type of story fits Adamo. I am disappointed that Adamo's time in New York was not included, but maybe it will be added to the Camorra 's anthology. Similar to Leona, Dinara was thrown at us and I wished we knew more about her. Especially being a Bratva princess. Her father's name appears here and there in other books. However I think she's the perfect love interests for Adamo. He needed someone different like him. And the nomad aspect of their life after marriage was chef's kiss, I couldn't imagine them living in the Falcone mansion. Now the revenge storyline is what lost me, I wanted to get on board, but it was random and lacked conviction. I suppose like Adamo, who felt guilty after his first kill, Dinara was the same, then magically becomes a killing machine, it was silly to me. And I rolled my eyes. But I'm glad she got her revenge on those sickos 🤮.

I didn't hate this book, but it's not one I'm rushing to reread again. Which is unfortunate because Adamo was one of my favorite characters in the Camorra Chronicles. And I feel he could have gotten a better book. I will say when Dinara left him hanging during their first sexy scene, I literally was laughing out loud. And Dinara won me over a little. Because I felt many of the other girls in these books needed to do this to their men, when they got beside themselves.

There were times when I was like "you know what, maybe Savio had a point, Adamo and CJ should be a couple" because they had more chemistry than Adamo and Dinara. Though I suppose it was more of "mommy issues" thing, since he said all the girls he had been with were older. Apparently was CJ was best sex he ever had, but then when he slept with Dinara, nevermind I guess 🤣. Someone else mentioned how them healing their trauma through sex and a murder spree was crazy and I have to agree.

The hopeless romantic in my rolled her eyes when they didn't want to have a traditional wedding and opted for hand tattoos, that they would have to redo every year. It was supposed to be cute and different, but I think it fell short. I can't imagine Adamo not allowing Kiara the honor of planning a wedding, after everything she has done for him. And Dinara's father accepting Adamo after a simple conversation was laughable. But the part that gutted me the most was when Dinara diminish Kiara's trauma. I was ready to throw the whole book away at that point. If Dinara needed to talk to anyone it was Kiara. Especially since she's part of the reason Adamo turned his life around. 🙃

I also didn't read this book fast like the others. I tore through Cora's other books in a day or two. This one took me 3 almost 4 days. And I think it's because of the disappointment of not getting key Falcone storylines in Adamo's point of view, more insight into CJ's and Adamo's relationship (though it kind of gave me the ick) and unlike Leona, Dinara didnt pull me in right away. Maybe because I knew she was trying to use Adamo before falling in love with him. And I felt Adamo had been used enough at this point. Plus we got a glimpse into Leona's life. We only scratched the surface of Dinara's.

The highlight of this book was it taking place away from Vegas and the Falcone mansion, for the most part. Because Adamo didn't fit in there, and we got to see his love for racing head on. However the family aspect of the other books is what made me love them so much. I would have liked to have read some past events, excluding his kidnapping by the outfit, in his pov. Especially his experience and recovery with drugs, and his love from racing. We get told he crashed a bunch of cars I would have liked to see it 😅. Overall this book was just lacking for me.
