Twice a wish picks up right where once a myth ended. I really felt for Sully In this book. More about his life was revealed, and he’s got some emotional baggage. Eleanor stars to put the pieces together. This book is 🔥, and angsty and emotions run high but you won’t be disappointed. On to the next. Both narrators did an amazing job, but how have I never listened to a book narrated by Scott Rider. He’s an amazing Sully. I need to find more narrated by him.❤️❤️.

Listening Heightened My Experience Ten-Fold

wice A Wish by Pepper Winters is book 2 in the Goddess Isles series. Pepper has created a world surrounded by myth, fantasy, and illusion. She has twisted our minds around a story so thought-provoking that we can't decipher the difference between illusion and reality, fantasy and actuality, myth and fact.

This story has me more mesmerized with each passing chapter. This is a story that you can't put down. The characters are filled with a desire to be loved, a desire to trust what is before them, a desire to make sense out of the beautiful illusion of euphoria. Everything that happens in euphoria has my senses on overdrive. Author Pepper Winters is definitely playing without minds, making us want and hope for one thing but teasing us with what is actually happening. She is a master at this game.

The Goddess Isles series is like none other I have ever read. The audio version has me enveloped in this world with the sultry and smooth voice of Scott Rider who portrays Sully to a T. The emotion that is ripped from Sully meets your ears and sends your heart on a rampage, sends your pulse skyrocketing.

At this point in the story, Pepper has me hooked, has me hoping that I see through the illusion, see the truth in the beautiful paradise, see a future for Eleanor and Sully, together. Her words say one thing yet hint and tease at something more. Every chapter leaves me wondering what was real; what was the illusion.

Sully has so many secrets, so many demons that haunt him. Try as he might to protect Eleanor and keep her safe, he is fighting a losing battle. Her strength, her wisdom, her compassion and empathy, are all weapons she uses to get inside his mind. Does she have any idea what she is in for? I can’t get enough!! This story has captured me & I want to keep listening without any interruptions & I’m a mom of 2 lol very good book series. A must listen or read if you prefer

This is ... different

I am all here for Pepper Winters. Shes a fantastic writer. I've never been disappointed in a book, but this series is just losing it. already into book 2 and I feel like nothing really happened. Here's to book 3 bringing some action?

Totally addicted to this series..book 2

This was such a fabulous hot series...book 2 continues where we left off and as a listener, it was so wonderful to have dual narration and Sarah and Scott were phenomenal. Love the fact that Eleanor tried to run away and continue to stand up to Sullivan. Ends with a cliffhanger and off to book 3 !

Never disappoints

My only complaint about this book is that I didn't wait for the entire series to be out so I could binge read/listen to them all! I have listened to this book "twice" and "wish" the third one was out!

Goddess Series

Twice a Wish (Goddess Series, Book 2) brings out more of Sullivan's complex character. I loved learning more about Sullivan's history. A dark romance that is extremely twisted, listen at own peril. Looking forward to listening to the next audio in this dark romance series.


Narrators Sarah Puckett, Scott Rider brought so much more to this audio. A perfect performance dual narration. Sarah Puckett is my favourite female narrator and Scott Ryder is excellent at performing Sully. Sarah has the ability to play out the role in such a realistic way. Scott's inflection was smooth and brought out the tangible sentiments.

“Twice a Wish” is the second book in the Goddess Isle series, and we begin to discover more about Sullivan’s past, the reasons behind his actions, and how meeting Eleanor has now challenged his control, as he falters with his strict adherence to personal and business standards. Eleanor’s hope is shown in her strength and determination for freedom as she continues her defiance, but another hope brews as she discovers the new feelings she has for Sully may not only be one-sided. This installment may seem slow at times, but the twisted dark plot continues, and we’re left with another gripping ending that will have you surely diving into the next book! Sarah Puckett and Scott Rider’s narration was amazing. I love the duet performance! The emotions are captured perfectly, and it makes me love these characters even more!
