Acerca de esta escucha
Americans live in the greatest representative republic in the history of the planet which is defined each day by “We the People.” Everyday, the nation is US.
When we look in our national mirror, if we don’t like what we see, we should do what it takes to improve our reflection.
TURNAROUND is a journey book, filled with ancient truths, our modern division, personal faith, true stories, a case study on immigration politics, and a lesson about the bees that will kill you.
This audiobook is a celebration of our freedom and a challenge to reconnect to our faith and do something significant with our lives. The stories are deeply personal and practical.
Let’s pray and get to work on our national turnaround.

In an era in which religion can be perceived as a source of division rather than peace, Heaven Help Us by former Ohio governor and congressman John Kasich explores true, inspiring stories of American faith communities becoming fresh, surprising forces for the common good. More than a collection of "feel-good" stories, Heaven Help Us reminds us of the resourcefulness and ingenuity of our fellow congregants and religious leaders that make it possible to turn our good intentions into even better outcomes.

Historia
There are moments that define America. The late afternoon hours of July 13, 2024 as the sun plunged westward over a field in Pennsylvania was one of them. This book is a narrative of that fateful day, the people involved, the untold story of how the president found his way back into the heart of the electorate, why he goes to places like Butler in the first place and the coming reckoning in our institutions as a result of what happened that day.

She stumbled over unburdening her past while Trump nailed it on groceries and borders—stuff folks actually care about.

Historia
With the gravitas of Joan Biskupic and the irreverence of Elie Mystal, Leah Litman brings her signature wit to the question of what’s gone wrong at One First Street. In Lawless, she argues that the Supreme Court is no longer practicing law; it’s running on vibes. By “vibes,” Litman means legal-ish claims that repackage the politics of conservative grievance and dress them up in robes. Major decisions adopt the language and posture of the law, while in fact displaying a commitment to protecting a single minority: the religious conservatives and Republican officials.

Historia
Douglas Murray, #1 international bestselling author and renowned cultural commentator, confronts arguably the most pressing question of our time: Why are Western supporters of Palestine unwittingly aligning with an evil empire? The campus left frames the violent hostilities as white colonialists committing genocide. Yet only a third of Israelis are Ashkenazi Jews of European ancestry. Murray argues that the conflict is not a simple tale of oppressor versus oppressed, but a clash between a thriving multi-racial democracy and a death cult bent on its destruction.

This book is inspiring, made me want to get up and do something, I know my calling but don’t always work at it. I began immediately while reading.
Not everyone will agree with Senator Lankford because they don’t share the same values.
I love how he calls out the angry yellers who are doing nothing to make change.
He threads in the love of God which resonates with my soul.
I think most Americans live in the middle but politics tries to push us to the left or right. It’s nice to hear common sense, we don’t have to be radical.
James affirmed what I think most of the time.
