Publisher's summary

When another body drops at Charity Basham’s feet, or more accurately, in her craft store Sassy Supplies, she sets out to find the killer, hoping it wasn’t one of her customers as Detective Sota believes.

Who would want to kill YouTube DIY Decorating sensation Serena Jackson?

Surly Kira Neugenbauer, whose glares are like daggers?

Lola, the newcomer to town, with the cartoon-red hair?

Bill Steiger, the grumpy old man, whose wife dragged him to craft night in the first place?

Charity's questions lead to an array of aggravated acquaintances, and one terrifying car crash turned attempted murder. Will she be able to uncover the killer, or will the killer cover her up instead?

Delightful Cozy Mystery

I enjoyed this story very much. Charity Basham was hosting a craft night in her shop, when one of the participants stumbled over a body. Charity can't help but get involved in the investigation as she doesn't want to believe that it was one of her customers. I liked the characters and the familial relationship that permeated the story. I was entertained by the mystery and appreciated the flashes of humor found in the tale. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Louise Cooksey's narration was good, and her performance was pleasing. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Holiday Crafts can be murder

Turkeys and Tragedy is Book 2 in th Holiday Cozy Series by Katherine H Brown. I enjoyed this story. I thought Louise Cooksey was outstanding as the narrator. The characters are realistic and I felt Charity was a good main character, I liked Detective Sofa too! The murder was well written with lots of clues to help me figure out "who done it". I am looking forward to listening to book 3, Gingerbread and Cadavers.

Short story and enjoyable read

This book is a short story. Book 2 in the series and takes place a month after the first story. This book provided you the opportunity to know the main characters in more detail and meet additional family. It’s an enjoyable and cute read. It’s solved pretty quickly. Charity, craft store owner, works to help the detective find the killer since the body was found in her store. Like the detective and there friendship or maybe some potential romance. Overall it was a quick read (or listen in my case since I did the audiobook) and I enjoyed listening to the story and the mystery solving.
