Where is the description

I purchased the book, but then realised I did actually want to know what the book was about, I don't need to know about the series,

What actually happens in this book.

The descriptions need to be better. This is crap.

"So adorable 😍😍😍😍😍 and swoon worthy"

This story is my favorite so far. I love it when a old romance can come back together! These characters meshed very well together the narration was perfect. I am missing more books my Jacob Morgan but I like Jason Clarke too.

Great Addition to the Series

Trying to Score is a great addition to the already amazing series!

This is a somewhat different review for me as I read the book and listened to it on Audible! I loved both editions!

I have always been curious about Teddy and Sara. They have had a sizzling chemistry that is always just beneath the surface. However, I had no clue that these two knew each other years before and that explosive chemistry they share is nothing new!

I have loved all the guys in the series, and I really like how Ryan always makes each one of them unique. I end up loving something different about each guy! I fell for Teddy’s sweetness. Yes, he is gorgeous, but it was his sweetness that totally stole my heart.

I loved Sara as well. On the surface, her sweetness doesn’t always shine through, but she has a wonderful heart. She is loyal to her friends and those that she loves. She is independent and fierce. I admired her determination and how hard she worked to achieve her goals.

I thoroughly relished the flashbacks of these two in college and seeing how much they have changed since those days. My heart just melted watching these two fall back in love.

I loved reading the book, but I loved the Audible edition even more. Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood really brought Teddy and Sara to life. They made a 6 hour drive fly by for me. They truly captured the essence of both characters.

I have long been a fan of Kendall Ryan. I fell in love with her style of writing and characters from the very first word I ever read from her. She taps into my emotions, yet gives me lots of laughs as well. She knows how to combine humor, romance, steam, and sweetness just perfectly!

Solid and sexy.

I was in the mood for a low angst, high chemistry romance and wow, this was it. It hit my tick marks. I loved that the couple had a history and didn’t dwell in the past to make their subsequent friendship work.

Teddy is that chill type of hockey player that loves his job and his grandfather. I oddly enough connected with his relationship with his grandfather. It’s special.

Sara is awesome. A hard working attorney that let her talent and hard work really pay off. I loved her attention to detail with her job and knowing how to work with her peers.

Together, even as friends, Teddy and Sara are fire. When their sexy past comes back, so do those memories and they slip into this arrangement.

Well, you know how those workout.

Jason Clarke was well, very Jason in this, but I think Savannah Peachwood outshined his narration. She sounded very much exactly how I though Sara would sound. Great work.

Scored!

Kendall Ryan has once again scored with her Hot Jocks series!! Teddy and Sara are the most perfect 'fake' couple! Teddy is the bad boy hockey player and Sara is the good girl from his college days whose lives are still enter twined. Their banter and fun-loving relationship is destined to be the foundation to an amazing partnership, with a rock solid, sexy flair. Teddy and Sara both scored in this story!!

Good but...

This book was good, but it has almost nothing to do with the sex tape. Just going off of the synopsis I was expecting it to be a bit more in the forefront, but it honestly wasn't at all. Everything in regards to that was wrapped up extremely quickly with the conclusion of that happening in about 1 or 2 chapters and then nothing. There was almost no conflict with it and there was exactly one minor repercussion. That's it. Unfortunately, it made the story nothing more than just a stereotypical romance. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it, because in some regard I did, but I was let down by the lack of entertainment that could have provided. I think if I would have expected that to be so far in the background then I would have liked it more.

I did like Sara and Teddy as a couple though. Their history was a nice addition to the story and they had a lot of chemistry.

Jason Clarke is always great. I've always enjoyed his narrating, even when some of his secondary characters sound a little cheesy. They're at least distinguishable. Savannah Peachwood is also someone I enjoy listening to. My biggest complaint with her is her male voices. Especially if they're older, but even her voice for Teddy is just so-so. I've always enjoyed the way she acts out her female characters, but I've never much cared for the almost shaky, punctuated why she performs male characters.

Overall, this was a cute book. The writing was well done, but the story just lacked a little something. With how short it is it definitely could have been longer to create a fuller storyline.

An unexpected story line

I enjoyed Teddy(TK) and Sarah's story, alongside continuing to here about Owen and Becca along with Justin and Elise. The narration brings the story to life. There was also a short story about Morgan, which was an added bonus. I look forward to listening to all the books in the series. Asher and Baily are next.
