Publisher's Summary

Includes a bonus audio short story, “The Awakening,” a prelude.

Over the past two decades, Nick Horrigan has built a quiet, safe life for himself, living as much under the radar as possible. But all of that shatters when, in the middle of the night, a SWAT team bursts into his apartment, grabs him and drags him to a waiting helicopter. A terrorist - someone Nick has never heard of - has seized control of a nuclear reactor, threatening to blow it up. And the only person he’ll talk to is Nick, promising to tell Nick the truth behind the events that shattered his life twenty years ago.

At seventeen years old, Nick Horrigan made a deadly mistake - one that cost his stepfather his life, endangered his mother, and sent him into hiding for years. Now, what Nick discovers in that nuclear plant leaves him with only two choices - to start running again, or to fight and finally uncover the secrets that have held him hostage all these years.

As Nick peels back layer after layer of lies and deception, buffeted between the buried horrors of the past and the deadly intrigues of the present, he finds his own life - and the lives of nearly everyone he loves - at risk. And the only thing guiding him through this deadly labyrinth are his stepfather’s dying words: TRUST NO ONE.

Acclaimed for years by both critics and his peers as one of the finest thriller writers today, Gregg Hurwitz has lived up to all the accolades and expectations with Trust No One, an electrifying and compelling novel that will be remembered for years to come.

2020 Release BS

I have already listened to this audiobook but purchased as it said that it was a Sept 2020 release. No issue with the story, but the marketing was a complete ripoff.

Ehhh

I love the Orphan X series so I just assumed this book would draw me in like Hurwitz’s other novels. But I found my mind wandering on more than one occasion. It just didn’t hold my attention. A little disappointed.

Definitely Do Not Trust Anyone

This was one of those, “can’t put it down” audiobooks! The story was captivating, made more special because it was narrated by my favorite story teller, Mr. Scott Brick Brick literally becomes each character as he reads.
You won’t want to stop listening!

Unique, interesting, but socially preachy

l had this on my wish list. Love you Hurwitz! And Brick helps you rock! But athletes and actors are doing this stuff enough. We know right from wrong. Can't we just enjoy your writing?

Wow!

Kept me on edge and guessing the entire time. A couple of holes but not plot ending. Worth a credit!

Well worth it!

This is one of the best books I’ve read. The intensity and action and plot are riveting. The only thing I didn’t like is that I read this a long time ago, but when I saw the release date as 2020 I thought it was a new book and pounced on it. It was just as exceptional the second time around and you cannot ever go wrong with a book narrated by Scott Brick! He is my favorite narrator.

Hard to imagine the premise...not credible enough.

Can a young man learn to love a stepdad so much that he would put the remainder of his promising life in jeopardy? Scott Brick is a good reader, but he becomes overly dramatic and oversells the inner pains of family relationships. It was good enough to finish, but not good enough to over rate. cheers, ken

Scott Brick is always a great narrator

This author seems to drag his books out longer than need be, but other than that it was a pretty good book.

Hurwitz and Brick

Don’t need to say more, great combination which story always enjoy it. I am always looking for the next Hurwitz novel and this one turned out to be just as good as all the others I’ve listen to. Now I can’t wait for the next nowhere man novel.
