Every day is a new opportunity, I feel she has the record and that the so called authorities were protecting one of their own… The circumference of our world via the capes (nonstop) is not the circumference that includes a start/finish in France… If it’s a road course on water then call it that, don’t act as though she took a shortcut… I think the detour above the equator is not necessary. If you want to start and finish in the southern hemisphere then go ahead. But don’t think that only northern hemisphere countries have the last word.

Determined young woman!

I have to say, this is the most interesting and most valuable real life story about a young woman with courage, drive and determination! I believe everyone should read her story then watch the movie to get the full picture of what this daring soul embarked upon! I say valuable, because everyone can learn something from this young lady! Drive, determination, courage, never give up, don’t listen to the naysayers! Probably the most inspirational stories I have ever read! At 16!!! I am blown away! I am a 59 year old father and inspired and very proud of this young lady!

This book is phenomenal. Though, I still don’t understand what the parka thing is. The movie is great too. Jessica Watson told me that you don’t have to be extraordinary to achieve great things!
