Publisher's summary

When a dead fisherman rolls up on shore, Madison cannot resist jumping into her new role as Private Investigator. But she soon discovers the people in The Cove who normally gossip about everybody's business are unusually tight-lipped. With the bad tenant radar still not working, the cottages continue to be full of riffraff. Madison gets arrested, shot at, and outsmarted. She teams up with her best friend, the Glock-carrying Fabiana. Together, they take on cases no other investigators would ever touch!

horrible narration

Would be a good book if it had a better narrator.

slowing your speech to a crawl or lower it or my favorite, not, sound like you're wearing a bad fitting denture, does not work It just makes the lusten slow and awful. And for the love of everything holy, learn to pronounce names. Didier is pronounced Didyay.

The narrator is terrible!!

Bring back Julie Ann Taylor as the narrator. This narrator, Hope, makes all the men sound old, Fab sounds dumb, Madison’s mother sounds like an old southern belle, Mac doesn’t sound tough (like she should) but more like a southern waif. It was sooo hard to finish with her interpretations.

Done

I could probably like this series, but I don't like the characters. I won't get another book in this series.
