Tamora pierce does a wonderful job of world building, From slave to spymaster, Trini Alvarado once again brings this world to life.

One of my favorites

I’ve re-read this book several times in paper, and it was a pleasure to enjoy it again in audio. One of my favorite duologies ever.

Trickster's Choice & Trickster's Queen are at the 5star multi listen pinnacle of Tamora Pierce's EXCELLENT writing! These YA books are adult worthy audio that my daughter & I have been re-listening to for more than a decade. We finally got the audible files so she has them @ college too. Almost everything thing Tamora writes is solid 5 stars and her audio versions are reliably good. These two books [not too immature, too mature or too dark, w/ humor, drama, & love] are perennial favorites.
