Loved it

So far I love all of Hope’s books. I’ve been waiting for this series to come out on audio. Hope the rest of the series becomes available soon.

Different yet the same

This storyline was different and quite interesting once you get past the prickly and at times abrasive personality of man female character; I don’t equate being rude and being strong willed. It shows how trust and distrust can rule or direct what we do; much like today’s toxic environment. Rachel’s soft male voice gets under my skin; she is fantastic with female voices; need a male for male characters.

Great series

I love the combination of adventure and romance that this series has provided. This is book 3 of the series and normally by this time, the series start to get a little stale. But the authors have managed to keep the action fresh and the adventure different from the first two books. I also like the fact that the erotic scenes are only part of the story and doesn’t overwhelm or consume the whole thing. If the listener is not as anal as me and must listen to every book in a series, this would make a good story on its own. Ms. Music does a good narration as usual. She’s not a reader but a storyteller.

Best in the Series!

Jess and Trazzak have incredible chemistry and both so stubborn about it. It has big Pride and Prejudice vibes.

This is two spies dancing around each other and falling in love. It has the best plot in the series so far. The romance supports the plot, instead of the other way around. We get a lot more world building and political intrigue in this one. I was on the fence about continuing the series but I'm so glad I did. It has plenty of action and intrigue, as well as a believable, slow-burn romance plot.

The spice in this one is EXCELLENT. Everything out of Trazzak's mouth is simply panty dropping.

Couldn’t put it down! Layla is one of my favorite audible books author. Can’t wait for more!
