one of his best novels yet. I had imagined Amy screaming out MOM MOM MOM while the Cardillac and land-rover tugged it out on the curved road

Truly awful performance

I want my money back. The reader of this story has a truly awful cadence, rising quickly and dropping his tone, oblivious to the natural rhythm of a sentence. Sometimes we get two cadences in a sentence for no obvious reason. It ruins the story.
