captivating

I don't normally enjoy space sci-fi but this is extremely well done the character building to the final climax will keep you listening at the edge of your seat and pining for book 2. highly recommended and worth giving a shot

Not bad overall

As the title indicates, not bad. The thing that really bothered me was the psuedo-physics the author was making up. He kept describing gravity in m/s. Gravity is an acceleration, not a velocity, so the units should be m/s^2, not m/s. I know this is a small thing since it's not a "hard" SF novel. However, it set my teeth on edge every time I heard it.

I don't expect a ton of research in a novel like this, but I do expect a little. Any reading about gravity makes this plain. Maybe I'm asking too much for a novel like this, but if you're going to try, get the simple stuff correct.

I enjoyed it for what it was.

As always, Jessica did an amazing job at narration/performing.

a breath of fresh air in the sci fi genre

Hands down one of the best space themed books I've listened to in a while. you can tell that a huge amount of thought went into the crafting of this rollercoaster of a story ! I was hooked from begining to end with this one an the twists on the story are not predictable as so many times they are in other books!

MC sounds like a girl

I usually love Jessica’s performances but she really fell short on this one. The main character totally sounds like a girl. This isn’t a minor issue. Many times during the dialogue I had to go back to make sure I understood who was talking. Very frustrating.

Space with sex? Yes please! Sign me up.

I wasn't sure at first about Bruce, but damn if he doesn't grow on you!

The book wasn't slow but had a damn good pace. Just right.

And that narrators voice is so damn sexy.

Fun Space Romp

Narrattor, Jessica Threet, is awesome as always. Enjoyed the slight voice difference in characters. I greatly enjoyed Sci Fi Space Mature Themed Story. Looking forward to the next iteration.

A worthwhile story

The story has more twists and turns than any great roller coaster while not throwing you off the tracks. There is plenty of detail and flow cohesion to keep any reader/listener’s attention. If you like action, sexy scenes, and a mystery, then you’ll like this.

significantly better than I expected.

I was expecting this to be the usual harem with OP main character but I was pleasantly surprised. the main character is flawed and everything doesn't always go his way. there are female characters that are NOT there to be in his bed. Some nice surprises in the story that I didn't expect.

Amazing Book!

I have to say, this book truly exceeded all of my expectations! Great story line, amazing character growth, was in no way predictable, and the narrator was perfect! Definitely worth a listen!
