I loved it

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I wish there was more. Right amount of spicy and action.

Overall it was a good listen. Good writing and performance. Main character was great. Didn't realize it was going to have over the top sex content. Took away from what could of been a great action sci-fi and I just skipped past them.

This story is fun from the start.

Edge of your seat science fiction fun and adventure from the beginning of the book to the very end. Dan Raxor & Tyler Bowman hit it out of the park with this one. I'll definitely be watching for more books from this storyline.

enjoyable pulp fiction space opera

Enjoyable pulp fiction space opera.

Great narration from both the voice actors, you can feel the emotions in the voices of the characters.

Overall i liked the story and the setting of the novel, even if it's one of the most commonly done narrative. The space combat is also well done. The first persona narration gets a bit tiresome, but the dialogue is engaging.

The pacing could be improved, everything seem to be moving very fast from action scene to action scene. This is not a bad thing necessarily, but I feel more time could have been spent instead on the relationship building. Most of the spice seemed to have been put in there just for the checkbox.

overall a good book

I really enjoyed the fact that genetic engineering had progressed in this universe to where folks are functionally immortal, unless they are immolated or some such other irreversible event like that. give this story a tapestry of different types of problems to solve

Really, really good space fights!

Excellent listen. I this is one of those books that straddle the line for me. I both like and dislike the MC. He's a bit too Rah ra ra in terms of his govenment, but he's also and ass kicker. His women are also very likeable and their part in the relationship makes sense.

I love a good space fight and the one's in this book are very well done. The description of the fights incorporates real elements of space as we know it to be. I'm impatiently waiting on book 2 so I can get back into this world.
