Well written

The characters are rich and the emotion is in depth and on point. I really like the characters and the messy family dynamics. Will definitely be reading the next book by this author. Finding love is never easy and finding the perfect person amidst all the angst is special.

Eliza Andrews You’re Amazing!

I listened to the whole book in my 14 hour flight from Melbourne to Lax. It had me laughing and definitely crying. My wife had lost both of her parents and me thankfully never loosing anyone close and therefore not truly understanding what my wife has gone through, this book helped at least she’d a bit of light helping me empathizing with her. I love the way Eliza writes. Just love it. The only downfall about this audiobook was the narrator kept having long pauses sometimes between a paragraph or a break. It sort of threw me off. Regardless that was something little. I loved her voice and she did an amazing job doing the other character voices.
Can’t wait to listen to long way home up soul mountain now. Keep it up Eliza. Oh and I love the after writings that Eliza dies after he books. Keeps me inspired as a lesfic writer myself. You go girl! From one butch to another.

I loved this book and finished it in almost 1 sitting. I can and will keep listening to this story over and over. The author does a great job of capturing each of the characters and makes you relate to them on some level.
