This was my first experience with this author's work, and I was very entertained. There were 88 short stories, and I enjoyed the variety and unexpected subject matter which surprised, amused, saddened, and sometimes provoked thoughts within my imagination. I admired the creativity. I'm looking forward to more works by this author. I thought Angus Freathy's narration was great, and his performance enhanced the collection's entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Each story starts out pretty predictable and within one word morphs into a short strange ending..The weird stories : from a very unusual garden gnome to a presidents first day at work,TO CUT A SHORT STORY SHORT VOLUME II gets a ten on my weird book o'meter!
