A really fun story

I bought this book on a whim. I have never heard of this author before. This book was recommended by Audible in the “books I would be interested” category. I’m happy it was recommended because I really enjoyed reading it. The author developed the story well and the characters showed growth and progression as the story progressed. The writing was well done and the characters fleshed out. This was a fun read and villain was really unhinged but the ending was well written. I will be purchasing other books by this author.

"A Tale of Two Dukes" by the same author is much better in my opinion.

Wonderful writing and story!

I've come to expect all Emma Orchard books to be amazing, this was no exception. I really loved the MMC and FMC and they were just perfect together. Not a lot of steam which is different from her other books, but it was not really missed. Narrator was fantastic.
