Sweet and fun romance from a wonderful author

I have read this book at least a couple of times, and I am so happy it is now in audiobook format. The story is sweet, with a bit of excitement thrown in. The FMC is a strong, resourceful, and resilient young woman who has taken her experience and chooses to help others from the same fate. The MMC is very loyal and loving and does falls for the FMC because of her wit, daring, and kindness to others - him being the exception, though she is not exactly unkind to him, just wary of his intentions.

The narration was beautifully done, and a perfect voices for this story.

Fun Romance

The story was enjoyable, the romance was clean, but the language was crass. There is a spattering of mild curse words and the word “wh*re” must’ve been used a dozen times along with other distasteful vocabulary. Read the book — it’s good — just be aware if you’re sensitive to such.
