Solid primer on 21st century antifascist action in reaction to these idiots coming out of the cracks. Mathias includes honest critique of shortcomings and assessment of own biases. THIS is what real journalism looks like.

I just wish there were more stories covered in the book. I really enjoyed what's here though.

Interesting, suspenseful and informative

The stories of real antifascists in the US are very engaging! The author explains that dedicated & trained anti-fascists take care to do the job with limits and care. They approach their functions with a strong sense of justice and they share their talents to advance our pluralistic, democratic ideals. I really liked seeing our society through their eyes. The book made me feel hopeful. And the passage near the end about Red Beard...omg. I won't spoil it, but...what an eye-opener.
