Publisher's Summary

Tiger...

The call I must answer....

I wake in the night knowing something is wrong. Carly, mate of my heart, is next to me, and I hear my son’s breathing. They are safe.

But someone, someone cries out with a despair I can’t ignore....

Carly won’t let me go alone, and neither will Connor, the cub who will become one of the greatest Shifters of us all - I know this. I see.

I can’t ignore the call. We take Dylan’s truck and head into the night on what proves to be the most important mission of my life....

A novella in the Shifters Unbound series.

Tigers on the loose!

I absolutely loved this little story! Tiger is one of my favorite characters and I’m so dang glad to get more of him and Carly.

This story brings a whole new light to Tiger’s world. A rescue mission sends them all into the belt of a beast, only to come out on the other side bewildered, elated and a little confused. It in the end, he happiness that drums brought all the bad is what matters!

I can always deal with more Tiger :-)

Tiger Striped is a novella set in the Shifters Unbound series. In this series, shifters are under strict regulation by the human government. They have to wear collars that will shock them if they “too” violent. They are also not allowed to have the most up-to-date technology, have certain jobs and are required to live in special communities called “shifter towns”.

This story follows Tiger. He is a shifter who was bred in a lab and was kept in a cage most of his life. That is until the Austin shifters came to his rescue and he got his HEA in Tiger Magic (book 5). He continues to be a integral character in the series. While he is a bit wild and only wears a fake collar to trick the humans to think he has one, he is also a protector. He has quite the way with children. He also has a knack for just “knowing” things.

So this book starts off with Tiger being woken up from a sleep being “called” from somewhere. He doesn’t know who needs his help or where exactly he needs to go to help them, but the call is more than he can handle, so he must go. His mate, Carly, refuses to let him go alone. The young Connor Morrissey stowed away to help too.

This is a short, but fun story as Tiger travels across state lines (another thing shifters aren’t supposed to do) to save someone who is calling out to him sublimity. It is great to see Tiger and Carly together and to spend some time with Connor, who has been a fairly minor character in the series (I hope he will get his story soon, but he is still considered a cub, even in though he is in his early twenties). The suspense and action was fun too (I can’t say more, because spoilers).

I think you could read this novella without having read the series. I think that the author does a good job of giving you what you have to know to understand the world (even if you don’t understand everything about this world, you get enough to understand this story). That being said, I think you will better understand the story if you read the whole series. There are also some minor spoilers for earlier books in the series if you read this one first.

Narration
I’m so glad that Jennifer Ashley was able to get Cris Dukehart to continue the series now that she’s self-publishing. Cris has done a great job with the narration of this series, which is long and has a large cast with many different accents and age groups (including small children, which she does really well).

I am a book hog

1423 audiobooks n counting ......
omg this book way WAY WAY WAY TOO SHORT. Like every big series some books lag. Almost like the author is shy of writers block. Now that isn't an insult it just happens. I normally write a review when it's super good. It's hard to please everyone & it takes some thick skin to put yourself out there. Why Ms. Ashley thought this one should be a novella IDK

What a wonderfully heart wrenching story

No spoilers, but if you liked Tiger & Carly’s original story or have been intrigued by the little bits of Tiger in all the books since then, you can’t miss this story. Also if you like hearing about Liam & Shaun’s young cousin, you have to listen to this book. It’s a jaw dropping story. Can’t wait to hear more about this new discovery.

I don't know what to say about this book that wouldn't give stuff away except that it's very sweet and I think it's setting up the next book well or maybe a few books down-the-line and I can't wait to hear what is next

Fantastic

I loved this book from start to finish. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I'm so glad there's more books on the way and it's not finishing soon. As I want to know more about the Shifter Unbound. I would love to know what Tiger's daughter chosen name becomes and if she becomes settled with her father and her new family. I hope Tiger gets his answers he's looking for and his daughter become part of Austin Texas Shifter town. So no one can take away from Tiger again. I've Read all the books so far and loved everyone. I seem to can't get enough of these books. These books are a must for shifter lovers everywhere. One of the best I've Read in a long time but upset it was so short storyline. I hope the next book is extra long though.
I'm Ok to the next book please .
