Clever Twists

I listened to the whole series. The third book was especially great. The narrator on the first two books did a nice job. The one in the third was a bit of a mess. When taking about the lapels of a suit it was pronounced l-apples. It was pretty painful. Lots of technical issues on the recording in each book made it a bit distracting. All in all worth listening to.

When Elyse thought she was the bottom of the bottom while her twin was regarded as the Alpha heir. Things change At the mating ceremony for the sister and Sebastian when he claims that Elyse is his fated mate, which complicates everything.
This is a series worth checking out.

First book fair, next two Good

This is worth listening to though I felt the first book was slow, story does get better as it continues. There are some slips in the reading, (repeat lines) but over all a decent story. Warning if you are not TV & Movie show knowledgeable some parts of this story might not make sense. Narration was done nicely.

Throne of Wolves

Throne of Wolves by Marisa Claire is a wonderful paranormal fantasy. Nara Naranjit and Diana Elena did a fantastic job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, engaging, enjoyable, exciting, action packed, funny, and more. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

Loved it!

Loved this series so much. Writing this after having finished the series. Werewolves or shapeshifters, whatever you want to call them this is a story about them. I would love a better description of how the shiftskins work though.
I really loved the characters, their complexities, their personalities. The entire world building was incredible. I could envision what each character looked like. They were quirky, snarky, funny, romantic & some even cruel. All were well written.
I will definitely be looking for more by this author.
Books 1 & 2 are narrated by a the same person and the third by another. At first it bothered me. Not because the second narrator was bad or did anything wrong. It just wasn’t the same tones and inflections. Both narrator’s were amazing though.

Decent Listen With a Few Snags

This boxset has an engaging story and is overall enjoyable, but there are a few hiccups along the way. The change in narrator in the third book took a bit of adjusting to, and if you’re not into movies, some of the references might not land. On top of that, the repeated sentences from editing slips were distracting at times. Still, the storyline itself is well-crafted and worth a listen if you can look past those flaws.

I got this as a free code for an honest review. I would read these book. This is no hate to the author or narrators. I understand that narrators rerecord words or lines for many reasons but the editing company should have removed the repeat words and sentences. I could get past most of the background noises but there are points that it was a little hard. The story was interesting. it had some great twists and turns. it is a fade to black and is written more for late teens but still enjoyable for adults.

An excellent story

I really enjoyed this story. It was very well written. There are a lot of movie references and a lot of the story is written around 80s and 90s movies. The descriptions of the characters and landscapes were vivid. The narration was very well done as well. The was one narrator for the first two books and another for the third. They both did very well. The difference in their tones took a moment to get used to but not much. Overall the books are worth the listen.

Good narrator and story!

Really enjoyed listening to the performance and will definitely listen again in the future. I’ve actually read the series before and was happy to listen and reread it all together. Definitely recommend a listen!
