the characters are what stood out the very most but I could talk about this book all day!

Before this book if you told me that a book could make me cry I'd laugh. And yet I find myself tearing up more than once. And the voice acting is some of the best I've heard!

Fantastic writing and great performances make this series of books a most welcomed passage to imagination.

I liked it all. this book like the 2 before is well paced. The performances are spot on. Don't start reading if you're busy for very hard to stop.

Loved it

What a journey. Amazing to get to the end after all the challenges faced along the way. Feeling sadness and hope and connection with so many main characters proves what a great story and world the author created. One narrator sounded like he was reading one word at time and had weird gasping breaths at times otherwise narration is great.

That was so sad. I got dumped in the middle of reading this and the ending hurt more than that. All I’ll say.

One of my favorite series now!

I loved this series. Most of it was read along with the audiobooks. Each MC had their own narrator! And the narrators did outstanding jobs. It’s closed doors on the smexy content, which I loved. It’s very much story/character driven. So much drama! The series gave me GoT and ToG vibes. There was some laughter. And definitely some tears. There’s betrayal. And ‘not betrayal’. The characters are so different yet have so much in common. And they will leave a piece of themselves in your heart by the end. There’s Aeri the quirky, weird sunshine. Mikail the spymaster. Sora the poison assassin. Royo the grumpy strong man. Euyn the paranoid prince. There is betrayal, trust, trauma, survival, found family, magical relics, and belonging. There were quite a few surprises along the way thought the series. If you haven’t read these books yet, run to start them. The series ends with book three. Or does it? She wrote an ending that could lead to more. (Fingers crossed) Speaking of the ending … make sure you have tissues nearby.

Great ending to this epic adventure

I love this series and this was an amazing ending. It didn’t make me cry, which it why I didn’t give it 5 stars, but definitely 4.5.

I enjoyed this series! This was a rollercoaster of emotions. Definitely recommend if you love books about heists.

I’m so sad this series is over - I loved it so, so much. I found this finale satisfying while still finding myself being equal parts heartbroken and craving more. This book moved fast - it felt like our group, split in two, ping ponged all over their realm and back again a dozen times. Even so, it was easy to follow in both eyeball reading and listening to the audio. I combo read this starting with the ebook and finished with the audio. I’m surprised at how well I did eyeball reading such a fast paced book. I do wish we got to stop and spend more personal time with the characters since this was our parting moment. I always want more.

The audiobook was beautiful. I’ve loved every book of this series in audio. I do wish all performers pronounced Aeri’s name the same. My brain always thats that as a micro aggression, and I was ready to defend my girl’s honor each dang time they said it differently than Aeri’s narrator did.

Great ending

It was interesting to read a book that didn’t end with everything coming up roses. She reminds me of how some of the older books used to be.
