It’s been awhile since I’ve been sucked into a story, beautifully written. I can’t wait for book two of the series!!

Mulan retelling done beautifully!!

such an incredible story, I loved to retelling with the focus being shifted from duty to selfish desire and the consequences of action because of it. definitely an instant classic.

I liked it but I didn't love it

I guess I miss understood what this book was to be able. I hate books that don't end with a happy ending. I'm hoping this was just a cliffhanger but if not I am very disappointed in this book.
