Descriptive, yet lacking

I love listening to David Chandler read these C.J. Box stories. The storyline seemed too far out of reality to keep me on the edge of my seat, like so many Pickett novels do for me. I mean, did NOBODY wonder how to explain the time/distance? Come on, Man! Still, Box's descriptive writing and Chandler's voice, I would listen to it again.

Back to the regular scheduled greatness

I just want to be clear. this is a great book. and I can't stress that enough. I wasn't crazily impressed with the last one. and was worried about the future of this series. But this definitely made up for it 100%

it was to predictable. There were several good aspects. Like giving Sheridan a bigger part in the story was great. But where were the other two girls,

This is a great listen. It went by way too fast. If you are new to Joe Pickett, you need to go back to start.
