Terrible narration

I’ve always loved the Thorndyke stories. This particular reader just doesn’t do justice. The free audio Thorndyke downloads from Librivox are much better.

Great old stories that have stood the test of time

To me, these are infinitely better than the Sherlock Holmes books if you like those then you will love John Thorndike. The reader is excellent. The one thing I would say is don’t buy the other short story collection read by this reader. By this one instead. This one has all those stories plus another eight hours.
