Publisher's summary

What do middle and high school girls have in common? Temptations.

The media paints this picture - run after boys and have sex whenever and with whomever. There are no consequences. Nothing could be further from the truth. Most dating and relationship books are meant for women in their 20s and beyond, when crucial relationship mistakes have already been made. This book aims to be a prevention instead of a cure.

Midori started writing on datingadvicefromagirl.com in 2007 and has helped thousands of people. Dating Advice from a Girl is a trusted online resource for anyone interested in traditional dating in the modern world. In this book, Midori shares scientific evidence and practical advice but weaves it all in personal stories to capture the attention of young listeners and explain: what happens in a woman's brain when she has sex, what is at stake when a woman has sex (namely emotional attachment, STDs, and unwanted pregnancy), and why chasing after boys is an option, but not the most beneficial.

If you have a daughter, niece, or granddaughter who's past the point of thinking boys have cooties and you subscribe to the mindset that there’s merit in letting boys do the pursuing and there’s wisdom in waiting to have sex, this book is for her.

Just a heads up: If you plan to purchase this book as a gift - this book assumes the listener already understands not only the mechanics of sex, but also the mechanics of what happens during foreplay.

This book is for cisgender heterosexual females.

Excellent for any age and any gender!

Where was this book when I was a young lady? Anyone in any type of relationship could benefit from listening or reading this book. The author not only gives me insight as to why I fall for guys that are either into me or not but why guys can have sex with a girl and just walk away. the physiological explanation by the author is explicit. I am a 58-year-old female (former psych nurse and currently a special needs teacher) and realized as I listen to the author's words on the way to work that it was allowing me to give myself more self-respect and self-worth for both my past and present relationships. now I firmly believe that with the right resources which includes this book I can be happy in or out of a relationship.
